Welsh Winter

It's been a long wait but at last the hills had a covering of snow this week. You can't afford to hang around with winter in Snowdonia, it's here one minute and gone the next - drop tools and get out there. I took advantage of the snowy conditions to run a couple of winter skills days. Winter Mountains with the RAF

Last week i joined the Royal Air Force Mountaineering Association up in Scotland. I was teamed up with the RAF Regiment team who are heading out to climb Denali in Alaska later this year, with the job of honing their winter skills and generally getting some winter mountaineering done.
