A winter mountain walk on the Glyderau mountains with coaching on using crampons and ice axe. Suitable for beginners with no previous winter experience. YOU WILL NEED SUITABLE BOOTS - please get in touch for advice if needed. We will cover: Equipment - boots, crampons, ice axes, clothing Fitting crampons and when to put them on Walking in crampons Using an ice axe And lots of other tips to help you get around the winter mountains I have limited crampons and ice axes to borrow but you willl need to have suitable boots (stiff and suitable for crampons).
