Service Description

To climb all the Welsh mountains over 3000 feet is one of the country's great long walks - over 40km of walking and nearly 4000m of ascent. To do this in 24 hours is a huge challenge and will take between 18 and 22 hours. Your legs might feel it for a few days though! The record for running them belongs to Finlay Wild who managed it in a staggering 4 hours and 10 minutes! A more manageable but still considerable mountain challenge is to climb them over 3 days. A typical itinerary would be* Day 1 - Tryfan, Glyderau Fach, Glyder Fawr, Y Garn and Elidir Fawr. A long day with lots of ascent Day 2 - Pen Yr Ole Wen, Carnedd Dafydd, Yr Elen, Carnedd Llewelyn, Foel Grach and Foel Fras. Another long day over some of the wilder parts of Snowdonia Day 3 - Crib Goch, Crib y Ddysgl and Snowdon. Shorter day but packed with excitement traversing the knife edge ridge and finishing at the highest summit, Snowdon. We will start in and return to the valley each day, accommodation and food not included. Make this your next mountain challenge. *Weather may cause the itinerary to change https://www.snowdoniawalkingandclimbing.co.uk/terms-conditions
