Service Description

A day of scrambling on grade 2/3 routes looking at how to use a rope and climbing kit. Along the way you will pick up some top tips and rope skills for improving your own expertise to tackle the harder scrambles. We will look at: Using climbing gear to build anchors Placing gear to protect a pitch Movement skills Suitable for anyone who has done some scrambling, good level of fitness. You will need your own footwear and clothing but helmet and harness can be provided if necessary (in price). You will be with an experienced Association of Mountaineering Instructors instructor £110 pp The day will start in Bethesda at 0900 and we'll be finished by 1600 - 1630 Cost is for guiding and instruction, use of technical equipment only. No accommodation food or drink included. For activities cancelled by me, (not including weather cancellations*) you will receive a full refund. No refunds for cancellations by yourself within 7 days of activity commencement.
For any weather cancellations I will refund 25%. This assumes that no activity takes place. It is rare that conditions are so bad that an alternative or modified itinerary cannot be completed.
*weather cancellations happen when the safety of participants is compromised by, for example, high wind.
