2 Day Scrambling Course 20 - 21 July

Service Description

This 2 day course will cover the basics of getting started scrambling and we will be out enjoying some of the great grade 1 routes around, typically North Ridge of Tryfan, Bristly Ridge, Crib Goch (actual itinerary will depend on weather). Course will cover: Equipment - everything from types of footwear to different rucksacks. Grades and guide books Route finding and navigation. Simple rope work - how to use a rope to get out of a tight spot. Course will be based around the Ogwen valley. We will meet in Bethesda and make use of public transport to avoid any parking issues. £130pp Cancellation and refunds It may be necessary to modify the route due to weather - however you will still get a good mountain scramble. For activities cancelled by me, (not including weather cancellations*) you will receive a full refund. No refunds for cancellations by yourself within 14 days of activity commencement.�For any weather cancellations I will refund 25%. This assumes that no activity takes place. It is rare that conditions are so bad that an alternative or modified itinerary cannot be completed.�*weather cancellations happen when the safety of participants is compromised by, for example, high wind.
